After spending a semester abroad at the University of Limerick in 2010, I returned to University College Cork to work towards my master’s degree in Sociology of Globalization and Development. The challenging academics, atmosphere, and the wonderful professors made my year in Cork both exciting and rewarding.

After falling in love with Ireland on my study abroad course in Limerick during the spring of 2010, I decided to return in 2011 to pursue a Master’s degree. I was accepted in the taught master’s program of Sociology of Globalization and Development. It is a small program with only a dozen or so students accepted each year.
